This our review of the 2018 Ford F-150. In it, we test drive modes, tow a stump and generally have some fun with it.

I thought this guy was gonna tie a real stump (in ground with roots and all) to his truck and yank it out
No. This guy is just a really manly dude who can push buttons in a pickup. Come to think of it, anyone with a pointy protrusion can do that.

The only truck vs. stump videos I want to watch are ones where when the stump comes free, it catapults forward into the back of the truck. B onus points if it smashes the rear glass (obviously easier in an SUV).

One of these was recently tested doing 0-60 in 5.7 seconds, with the smaller 2.7L Ecoboost, wonder what this 3.5L will do?
Thats faster than my C4 Corvette or just about every sporty sedan I’ve owned .

Oh come on, that log weighs no where near half of what the towing capacity of this truck is. Clickbait thumbnail

I prefer the vids where the stump wins and bends the frame in half or rips the rear axle out.

Spent most of Monday driving one.
I hated almost everything about it.

I call it the poverty spec, the XL is the worksmans spec, though no workman buys those, not even government agencies buy them that cheap.
However, my XLT supercab with the 6.5ft bed and 40/20/40 bench seat & jewel of a 2.7L Ecoboost motor could be the most usable and value for my money vehicle I have owned in the last few decades.
